Production Associates must be able to perform a wide array of essential functions across a number of production and manufacturing lines and work areas, as business needs require. The successful candidate takes pride in their hands-on capabilities, sense of urgency, and attention to detail, and appreciates an environment where superior work is encouraged, noticed, and rewarded. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute requirement to establish effective working relationships within Tesla and outside. The ideal candidate has a proven record of success in hands-on assembly and the application of production systems in any type of manufacturing environment. Production Associates are also responsible for participating in the regularly scheduled cleaning and maintenance of the production equipment, including but not limited to equipment used in the Paint department. Ability to lift 30-50 lbs on a daily basis.Production Associates participate in the development and application of Tesla s Production System for the construction and assembly of Tesla vehicles, components, superchargers, and other products.Ability to perform repetitive duties while standing for long periods of time.Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
